We provide trained Pet Therapy Teams, humans and their well-mannered dogs,
to provide emotional and physical benefits to many people in the community. The aim of the program is to help improve the wellbeing of patients, residents and their families through positive contact with visiting volunteers and their dogs.
Providing service delivery of dog assisted activities, to over 25,000 people a year.
Our pet therapy dog teams provide animal services to 90 + facilities,
spanning all age groups, including persons with social, mental, emotional, legal, and physical vulnerabilities.
Teams provide individual and group visitation and depending on the program,
may work with professionals to assist persons in meeting specific therapy goals.
The dog's skills are often matched to the type of facility and the needs of the client/patient.
The variety of facilities showcase the broad skill range of the Pet Therapy Dog Program.

Our Qualified Professionals
Incorporating animals into treatment
Therapeutic Dog Services organisation spans a network of highly qualified professionals incorporating animals into treatment.
Every certified Therapeutic Dog Services professional, is a credentialed, registered, practicing health or human service provider or Animal Specialist, who demonstrates skill and expertise regarding the clinical applications of human-animal interactions.
Training: Volunteers are required to complete Compulsory and Professional Development training courses.
Police Clearance: each and every volunteer/staff member hold a current police clearance certificate
All registered teams are covered by our Insurance policy: $20M Comprehensive Insurance, General Liability $20M, and Volunteers Insurance.
Your Home, Facility, School or Location
We bring our programs and services to an individual at their home, clients at a facility, school or location.
Various programs and services are available (design and implement programs at your request)
Availability: from 1 hour to 2 hours in duration
We have available helping hands volunteers to help your client or clients participate
Our programs are based on activity and not physical ability.
Fees or Rates: Donation Agreement plan, Hourly Fee or Price on application.
