Would you like to become a foster carer?
We have animals - dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, equines, livestock that are surrendered to us on a regular basis, they may not be suitable for animal assisted intervention programs or training for varying reasons.
As a foster carer you can help us and help these animals out by providing much needed temporary homes, providing them with love and support before becoming available for adoption.
Becoming a foster carer is an incredibly rewarding experience. As a foster carer, you will have 24/7 support from our team.
Who is eligible to join the foster care team?
You are aged 18 years or older.
have lots of love to give, dedicated to commitment and care to animal/s
Can provide a safe and secure environment for animal/s
Have home and contents insurance.
If renting, you have sought permission from your landlord.
Have reliable transport and vehicle insurance.
attend veterinary appointments as required.
attend foster care training sessions as required.
Follow all TDSINC South Australia policies and guidelines.
